Blast and Ballistic Protection Design Course

To be held 20th – 23rd May 2019

This popular training course is being hosted by DNV GL in their new state-of-the-art training centre at the Spadeadam Testing and Research Centre in Cumbria. As well as exceptional training facilities, the venue will allow students to gain real experience of full-scale test demonstrations that are designed to reinforce the concepts being covered in the course.

Content will include:

• Blast and Ballistic design for concrete, steel, aluminium and glass.
• Use of dynamic design tools from simple design guides to complex finite element modelling.
• Blast and ballistic testing
